Hola and welcome to another instalment of Kaptain Kenny featuring the lovely Albayzín in Granada, Spain.
We hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we enjoyed cruising these winding streets.
We highly recommend Granada as a suitable option for a European winter holiday as it’s always sunny and the weather is at least 20 degrees during the day. Another thing worth mentioning is the fact that almost every tapas bar gives you a plate of food with your drink order – we’ve hardly spent a cent on food while we’ve been here.
Things to do:
- La Alhambra (pictures coming shortly…)
- PLAY Segway Tour – our tour guide was Manu and he was charismatic, kind and very informative. Thanks Manu! ***PLAY Granada also offers really different tours for those who get bored with the regular run-of-the-mill tours, so look them up for sure.
- Sacromonte – a quarter with the most INCREDIBLE homes. Apparently according to Manu, it’s where the old Granada rulers used to put the gypsies to ‘contain’ them. His words, not mine!
Adios y buenas dias!
