3 Days in Stockholm: Sweden

Hej & välkommen to my latest post on Stockholm; the capital of Sweden!

This was a mini trip which spanned over a long weekend. We were there for the National Day of Sweden which was on the 6th of June.

Look, I’m going to have to start this blog with the obvious topic which everyone knows is the big elephant in the room. Why are all Scandinavians, especially the Swedes so incredibly good looking? What’s in their water? Why are their genes so good?

Okay good, rant over. Now the travel blogging can begin.

After I was able to hitch my dropped jaw back into place, I hired a bike and zipped around all weekend long. Weeeeeeee.

I basically cannot give you too much detailed information about this trip, but not because I don’t want to. I normally don’t do too much research on a place before I travel. For this reason, I like to hire a bike (weather permitting) and follow my loins wherever the wind takes me. The most obvious must-sees however would be the Royal Palace and Gamla Stan which is the old town of Stockholm.

I hope you’ll be able to recognise/ get *some* help from my photos in this blog at least!

If you have any questions/comments or feedback, just leave a message. I read them all and will respond to you.

  1. Awesome, I’m visiting Stockholm for 3 days shortly and am pretty much planning on the same thing and winging it too. Great to see that you had a blast just wandering around and seeing what you find!

    1. I did have a blast! A little tip though, if you’re wanting bang for your buck, head down to Lund, Malmo and then take the train over to Copenhagen. Easy way to see three Scano cities in 24 hours!
