‘Ooh, la-la’
It’s time to get away again. Somewhere warm, am I right? The French Riviera is the perfect option if you want to mix beach and sun with wine and fine dining.
I flew in January, at the peak of Germany’s miserable winter and I was delighted to land and see the sun again, shining proudly at 17 degrees Celcius.
I wrote a Nice travel guide for you which is now on the TravelTop6 website. If you’re heading to the French Riviera, specifically Nice or Menton, then this guide will help to make your trip even more flawless!
Here is my guide for Nice and Menton: 5 Secrets for the Perfect Getaway to Nice
Nice Travel Guide
Where to stay: Enjoy your stay at the recently renovated boutique hotel ‘La Malmaison’ and be sure to say hello to the friendly manager Sanna.
Originally hailing from Finland, Sanna is now well and truly a Nice local and will help you plan the best activities to make your stay truly authentic. Tell her Kaptain Kenny sent you for the best Nice travel guide experience!
5 Secrets for the Perfect Getaway to Nice
One final tip: To make sure your trip ends with a bang, try to fly out of Nice before sunrise or sunset. Get a window seat and chances are you’ll fly over the French Alps and you might even be able to catch a glimpse of it.

March 11, 2018 at 7:38 pmWe are planning to visit Nice next year. it’s been on our list for a while but we never actually get around to booking it. this has persuaded me to book the flights and will help me make the best of our trip (had never heard of Menton but will make sure to go there). Kait
