Where to Find Great Cafes in Frankfurt

A big coffee shop with lots of chairs and tables and a big piece of artwork on the wall.

Coffee alert! I smell the aroma of strong, freshly brewed coffee emanating from cafes in Frankfurt.

I bet you’re surprised to hear that Frankfurt, Germany’s well-known finance capital, has new specialty coffee shops opening regularly.

As a coffee fanatic, (I mean, who isn’t?) I’m more than excited to tell you that I have been asked to write an article for an exciting travel project called TravelTop6 – My mission was to report on Frankfurt’s craft quality coffee.

To find out where to go for your next sip and to discover exactly which cafes are pictured below, you’ll find my written article here: https://traveltop6.com/guides/the-ultimate-guide-to-the-coolest-brews-in-frankfurt/

If you think I’ve missed any stellar spots, be sure to let me know. As a Frankfurt resident for the last six or so years, I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting businesses which support the city and offer something new. My next TravelTop6 post will be coming out in December and I’ll be focusing on the food scene in town. I already have a pretty good list in mind but feel free to send some of your personal tips in the comments section below.

Happy clicking and sipping!

Yes! Bunca has a beautiful homemade banana bread which I grab on the go. Holy Cross has many more sweets and Aniis has a lot of Moroccan food. Are you a Frankfurt local too?

If you still need inspiration for your food article : eat doori, an Indian street food restaurant with two locations in Frankfurt has the best Thali lunch in town ! The one in grüneburgweg has an all blue backyard.
Also in grüneburgweg there are two amazing falafel shops. Zeit für Brot has THE best Zimtschnecken 🙂
I was thinking about doing a Frankfurt article as well … makes you try out many new places !! http://www.worldwidetraveling.org

      Hey Maren,

Oh but of course I know Eat Doori! I actually mentioned them in a Bahnhofsviertel post I did about two years ago. That was their first location and funnily enough, I have a Foodora window open right now where I wanted to get one of their curries delivered tonight for dinner – ha!

You’re spot on about Zeit für Brot – my German bf once said ‘Where did you get this bread from? Please can you get it again’ so it must be good… hahah!
