“Hola” fellow Kaptain Kenny readers and Cuba lovers,
As you may know, I’ve already written quite a lengthy piece on Cuba and gave my tips/advice if you have an upcoming trip.
For that reason, I’d like to point out that this point is just going to be a collection of photos from my time spent in Havana. Maybe you’d like to see what Havana looks like, or get a feel for the place before going – well if so, this will be the post for you.

Old Havana City Walking Tour: Cuba

Look at the way they’re looking at that woman!

More of the classic cars.

Havana, Cuba

See where that red car was coming from? I’m pretty sure those coloured buildings make up the stereotypical ‘feature’ photo of Cuba/Havana in all guide books and on all blogs!

Everyday life.

Why didn’t I get the pink memo?

Perfect timing really.

Hola amigo! How’ve you been?

Quite surreal to be here!

Havana is simply FULL of such cars.

Shadow and light.

This was by far the most well-kept square in the city. It didn’t seem real when you compared it to other areas.

National pride.

Pineapples for sale.

Just cruising.

Watching a Cuban band perform.

Loved the colour combination here.

We enjoyed a delicious sugar cane cocktail here!

Very touristy.

In love with the detailing.

Art for sale

That guy in there is working hard.

A butcher’s shop – eeeek!

Plaza de Armas

Great market here daily at Plaza de Armas.

Fidel Castro everywhere.

Plaza de Armas.

This is a wooden floorboard which was made back in Cuba’s colonial days. Apparently the wealthy didn’t like the sound of their shoes on the cobblestones so they demanded that wood be laid down instead.

Plaza de Armas.

Plaza de Armas.

Plaza de Armas.

Plaza de Armas.

This place was the first realisation of being in Latin America.

Working hard.

This spot is actually close to where Chanel was having their controversial runway show.

Lovely streets.

La Habana.

Artwork for sale.

Close to the Hemingway Hotel & Bar.

At the Hemingway Bar where Hemingway once lived and worked. Guess who that is in the picture on the bottom right?

Thanks for reading!
If you made it to the bottom of this post, well done. 10 points! Which were your favourite photos? I’d love to know – I always try to take photos which I think my readers will find interesting.
