I’m sorry for what I’m about to do.
I’m about to make sure that everyone living in moody/grey/cold Europe right now starts to wish it were summer.
This place is up there as one of my favourite places on earth.
Everything about it – the colours, the textures, the weather, the scenery…. ahhhhhh take me back!
You see I’ve been holding off on posting this blog for quite some time as I was waiting for the right moment. Right now, we’re all pretty sick of winter. Even though it’s been a mild one, I’m still severely lacking in vitamin D. Are you?
So here is my post on the Hilton Northolme on the main island of Mahe in The Seychelles.
The Seychelles is a small country/ archipelago consisting of 115 scattered islands in the Indian Ocean. It’s found to the right of Somalia for those playing at home.
In my life, I don’t believe I’ve ever loved a place as much as I loved this. If you get a chance to make it over one day, I recommend it as a holiday destination because the people are so kind and friendly and the scenery is absolutely spectacular.
This is going to be one post of four in total. The next post will be on our diving trip and the following two will be on the other two popular islands La Digue and Praslin.
If you have any questions/need ideas about a holiday here, please get in touch. I simply cannot recommend the Hilton Northolme enough. What a place of grand beauty 🙂
Enjoy the pictures – maybe they will transplant a bit of vitamin D through the screen!
