Island Hopping in the Seychelles – Hilton Northolme Resort; Mahe

I’m sorry for what I’m about to do.

I’m about to make sure that everyone living in moody/grey/cold Europe right now starts to wish it were summer.

This place is up there as one of my favourite places on earth.

Everything about it – the colours, the textures, the weather, the scenery…. ahhhhhh take me back!

You see I’ve been holding off on posting this blog for quite some time as I was waiting for the right moment. Right now, we’re all pretty sick of winter. Even though it’s been a mild one, I’m still severely lacking in vitamin D. Are you?

So here is my post on the Hilton Northolme on the main island of Mahe in The Seychelles.

The Seychelles is a small country/ archipelago consisting of 115 scattered islands in the Indian Ocean. It’s found to the right of Somalia for those playing at home.

In my life, I don’t believe I’ve ever loved a place as much as I loved this. If you get a chance to make it over one day, I recommend it as a holiday destination because the people are so kind and friendly and the scenery is absolutely spectacular.

This is going to be one post of four in total. The next post will be on our diving trip and the following two will be on the other two popular islands La Digue and Praslin.

If you have any questions/need ideas about a holiday here, please get in touch. I simply cannot recommend the Hilton Northolme enough. What a place of grand beauty 🙂

Enjoy the pictures – maybe they will transplant a bit of vitamin D through the screen!

Start your day correctly at this gorgeous resort – a complimentary champagne breakfast with freshly pressed juice and a big plate of locally grown fruit.

The view from the breakfast balcony.

This is one of the reasons why I loved Hilton Northolme so much. They have this gorgeous little bay at the foot of the resort where you can hire snorkelling or kayak equipment free of charge and just spend the day in the water.

The island of Mahe is very mountainous so it was lovely to have this in the background.

Silhouette Island in the background!

From the resort’s bar, you can sit and have a coconut while taking in all these colours.

Yep, in love with the colours, water temperature and relaxing vibe.

Hilton Northolme on Mahe island – definitely a wise choice if you visit The Seychelles.

Welcome to paradise!

These sunsets were unreal…

Favourite time of the day on an island, when the sun goes down.

Sunset loving.

Another fantastic breakfast!

To prove that I was actually here 🙂

Holidays always go best with a glass of champagne!

Celine it was absolutely amazing! Not a lot of people know too much about Seychelles but it was totally easy to get there and honestly, was the most remarkable holiday I’ve had 🙂
